Bearpaw Fur Boots

Fur has been around for a while now, and, thanks to the many Hollywood celebrities who helped to catapult it into popular fashion, we all know what it looks like. It started chiefly on couture and general apparel but has in more recent years become the trending style in many shoe brands as well.

I for one am a big lover of fur and shoes, boots in particular. So, when the marriage of these two finally happened, truly represented the pinnacle of fashion in footwear for years for me! But, for a number of reasons, out of the many choices of fur boots on the market today, the Bearpaw Fur Boots are my number one choice.

Technically speaking, all Bearpaw Boots can— correctly— be categorized as “fur boots” really, because they are all lined, either inside or out and to varying degrees, with fur. While there have been boots on the market covered with fur on the inside for many years, the trend changed a bit a couple of years ago, and the fur began to appear prominently outside the boots. And thus the term “Bearpaw Fur Boots” has come to mean the more fluffy varieties of Bearpaw Boots, where the fur is plainly visible and is kind of screaming “look at me!”

That being the important distinction, there are really only 7 names in the Bearpaw collection of boots that fit the bill: the Bearpaw Boetis, Bearpaw Kola, Bearpaw Mukluk, Bearpaw Tama, Bearpaw Shako, Bearpaw Sonjo and Bearpaw Whitney. I’ll briefly profile all these in a moment.

This extra fur certainly means that the Boots are particularly suited for colder regions and seasons; and being a proud owner of 3 of these names— the Boetis, Mukluk and Kola— I can tell you from first-hand experience that there is no better feeling during winter than sinking your feet into the soft, cosy cocoon of the sheepskin of these boots.

Nevertheless, by utilizing sheepskin as the main material for the boots, which works as a natural temperature and moisture regulator to keep your feet feeling cool and dry in warmer areas, Bearpaw Fur Boots can still be worn comfortably in moderately warm environments, especially on an evening out in the town.

If what you’re looking for are boots that will give you the warmth and exceptional comfort, but still look stylish, exotic and playful, then these are the boots for you.

The Bearpaw Boetis Fur Boots

The Boetis are my most favourite of the bunch because they are the fluffiest and sassiest. I personally have two pairs of these; one in white and another in black. You can get either the first edition or the Boetis II (which I think are even more gorgeous; shown here in the picture).

If you love the attention like me, Boetis are great for an evening outing to more socially-packed areas like clubs or soirées.

These can be a little tight for most people though, and it's always a good idea to order a one size up.

The Bearpaw Mukluk Fur Boots

The picture here doesn’t do these justice at all ‘cos, believe it or not, these boots are actually better looking “in person”! They are approximately 12 inches tall with short heels, and are extremely comfortable for heels.

The Mukluk can be great if you want to go with a smarter look, and on an evening date to some fancy location. I think I’ve had the most complements with these more than any of my other boots.

The Bearpaw Kola Fur Boots

I dearly love the Kola boots— the feel, the look, the comfort, everything about them. They, too, are available in the first edition and the Kola II; and although some people prefer the first one to the second, I actually didn’t like the first as much as I love the second, and it’s the pair I own.

I find the Kola’s design to be much more ideal for walking through snow and rougher terrain than the other two, but is still stylish enough to be worn with jeans for a casual look in the winter.

I have my Kola in black, though, like many of the other names, you can select from a number of other colours like maple, luggage, and white.

The Tama Fur Boots

Well, I’ve never owned these— yet— so I can’t really give as personal of a review on them as with the three above; but, like most other Bearpaw Boots, the Tama Fur are mid-calf boots and come in two editions, Tama I and Tama II. You can choose from two nice-looking colour schemes— black and chocolate.

The Shako Fur Boots
The Shako are definitely Bearpaw's most high-end designer boots. They are made of the most luxurious materials: the outside is constructed with the highest quality calf skin and trimmed with exotic fox fur. The inside is made of wool lining and a sheepskin footbed.

Having extra thick skin and fur, these provide better insulation from cold than the others. They are particularly well suited for really cold areas and conditions.

Head over to Amazon right now and order either the Shako I Fur Boots or Shako II Fur Boots and save on shipping costs. The ones displayed here are Shako II. Like the Tama Fur Boots, the Shako II also come in two colours to choose from— maple and black; whereas Shako I come in chestnut, white and black.

The Sonjo Fur Boots

If I’m to get another pair of Bearpaw Fur Boots, I think it’s going to be the Sonjo II. The outside goat fur on these is absolutely gorgeous— the camel colour especially; it is the colour that’s on display here.

The Whitney Fur Boots

Of all the Bearpaw Fur Boots, the Whitney have the least fur on the outside and look the most casual. They look very stylish and come in black, charcoal and chocolate colours. They can be worn with tight jeans tucked inside them or with a miniskirt for an easy-going, casual look. I think I could buy these next too; they're so exotic looking!

Well, there you have it; the seven big names in Bearpaw Fur Boots…

Not long ago, fur was untouchable for most us. If you can remember those really furry UGG boots that came out a couple of years ago, you know how those used to go for around $500 a pair! But Bearpaw changed all that. With the exception of the Shako Boots, most of these Bearpaw Boots are bellow the $100 range on Amazon and Endless! If you really love style, comfort and exotic, fluffy things, now is your time to grab these boots at the best prices at these trusted shopping destinations.
